Two year old autism concerns

Hi 👋🏻 our little boy is 26 months and is showing possible signs of autism. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with this and what the outcomes were.

• He makes eye contact with me and my husband but preschool teacher has said that he doesn't make much eye contact with them
• He responds to his name sometimes but not all of the time
• He isn't a fussy eater and has never been. We started baby led weaning at 6 months and he took to it right away
• He has always been a good sleeper unless he's unwell
• He LOVES to climb. Preschool have commented on this
• He is affectionate (mostly with me). Loves hugs and kisses
• Responds to praise
• Hand waving when excited
• There's a definite speech delay. He doesn't use sentences yet
• Brings me books or toys he wants me to play with

The only things that stand out would be the speech delay and the hand waving - do you mean he flaps his hands?

In the context of the other things I'd say normal toddler behaviour but keep an eye. It doesn't scream autism to me.

@SpinningTops yes sorry, hand flapping. He doesn't do it all the time but I've noticed it now I'm looking for signs
