8 week old holding their head too well?

Hi,

Just wanted to know if there is such a thing as a baby being able to hold their head too well, too soon?

My dd is 8 weeks old and can hold her head right up for quite a while whilst doing tummy time. I thought that she was just doing really well, but I've been told by family that that isn't normal for her age? 🤔

Don’t listen to people - if your baby is happy and doing well at something then I don’t know why people have to make you worry.
Sounds like she’s doing great and has a lovely strong neck and great control! Try to celebrate how well she’s doing :)

Some people can say the oddest things. I wonder why they think it's not ok?

Thanks! I've just been praising her and celebrating her little achievements and will continue to do so.

I've honestly heard everything from she's overstimulated to she's got tension. But she's happy, so will carry on 😊
