Shoe size? My DD was a size 6, her friend was a size 5 and her other friend a size 4 at 20 months so perhaps not much help!

HereComeTheGirls · 21/04/2008 21:23

my DD is 18 mos and just under a size 2, she has teeny feet!

pucca · 21/04/2008 21:28

My ds is a size 7! he is 20 months, but a big boy as you can probably tell.

trace2 · 22/04/2008 07:02

2-3 clothes here, with the odd 18-24 month. Why on earth do you need to know now?

HereComeTheGirls · 22/04/2008 07:07

Well...my DD is also tiny, she could get away with 6 to 9 month or 9 to 12 month clothes now at 18mos except she has long legs and arms!!!

Meandmyjoe · 22/04/2008 07:08

Mmmm that depends as she may have a growth spurt. It's hard to tell really. I imagine she'll probably stil be petite. I would gues at either 9-12 or 12-18. How much does she weigh now?

Your lucky you get so much wear out of your baby clothes! DS is only 8 months but weighs over 24lbs and is the average height of a 14 month old! He's just gone into 12-18 month size clothes. We don't seem to be able to go a month without having to buy bigger clothes. He's a giant! Someone on the bus last week asked me if he's walking yet??? She couldn't believe it when I said he was only 8 months old.

HereComeTheGirls · 22/04/2008 07:11

wow, that's amazing..my DD weighs about 20lbs!!

trace2 · 22/04/2008 07:15

she weighs 14 lb now, only putting an oz a month on.
i want to know as we on about going away next april some here hot, and thinking of getting clothes now, as they only just come out in shops for summer

nappyaddict · 22/04/2008 07:23

my ds is in some 9-12 but also some 2-3!!

HereComeTheGirls · 22/04/2008 07:30

I would get some 12-18, thats what I assume my DD will be wearing at 20 months!!

Meandmyjoe · 22/04/2008 07:31

20lbs and she's 18 months! I'm sure I need to put Joe on a diet he's so tall though, he's on the 98th centile for both height and weight. He's just massive, i dread to think how big he will be at 20 months, he'll probably be sharing his daddy's clothes!

Meandmyjoe · 22/04/2008 07:33

Aww Trace she is tiny! It must be nice to have a baby that looks like a baby and not a toddler!

HereComeTheGirls · 22/04/2008 07:38

He sounds perfectly in proportion..my DD is in the 80th for height and the 9th for weight, but eats like a horse, I am just resigned to her being tall and skinny!!

trace2 · 22/04/2008 08:43

meandmyjoe your ds sounds fine ,

herecomethegirls, you dd sounds as tiny as mine , what she weigh when born? have you never had problens with her weight? as they say my dd is to small and want to put her on fattering milk

peanutbear · 22/04/2008 08:46

DD is23 months 4.5 in shoe size just gone into 18-24 months for clothes

but she has had a growth spurt and become dumpy all of a sudden the boys did this and became tall and thin

ShowOfHands · 22/04/2008 08:50

meandmyjoe, don't worry. My dd is off the charts for weight and height and always has been. She weighs 27lb at 11 months, is very tall and wears 18-24 month clothing.

HV says it's because she's going to be tall. Just like the milkman.

HereComeTheGirls · 22/04/2008 09:02

trace - she was 6lbs 2, born at 36 weeks. She was always lean but really seemed to get skinny when she started crawling and moving. She is so lively and is always moving, so I think she burns it off. Plus she has low muscle tone so I think has to work harder to do things like stand up. I was also skinny when I was a baby too!!

trace2 · 22/04/2008 09:09

6lb at 36 weeks, my dd was 5lb 80z at 39 plus just shows how diffrent they can be!

pucca · 22/04/2008 12:16

Oh clothes doh!

My ds is in 2-3 bordering on 3-4.

mejon · 22/04/2008 15:09

DD is 20 months, weighs 21lbs, is still in the 3.5 shoes she had in November and is wearing a combination of 6-9, 9-12 and 12-18 month clothes (and she also has 2 pairs of lovely OshKosh stripey tights in age 0-6 months that fit perfectly!) It really depends on where you get them too. I find that Next, Tescos and Sainsburys are pretty big on her, whereas the few more expensive bits I've foolishly got her fit more to age (Boden, some Monsoon etc).

trace2 · 22/04/2008 15:11

i shop mosly at next, but get things from asda too so i think ill get 9 to 12 months and a few 12 to 18, thank you all
