LB drinking 6oz at 4 weeks old

My LB was drinking 4oz at 2 weeks, 5oz at 3 weeks and now 6oz at 4 weeks. In the day he goes 3-4 hours between feeds and only wakes once (about 3-4am) at night. That’s with me waking him as I’m too worried about letting him sleep through. He has a weigh in next week but showed good weight gain at 2 weeks. He always has a wet nappy and is regularly pooping. Is he just making up in the days for what he isn’t taking at night and is this normal at 4 weeks… I’ve been waking him in the middle of the night for about a week now. If he’s gaining good weight should I just let him sleep through?

ask pediatrician when he goes at next checkup about his food.

Sounds like all 3 of my boys lol. Now ages 7, 3, 10 months, youngest is a little chubby😁 but honestly all perfectly healthy weight now if anything could do with gaining a little bit of weight. They were just hungry babies lol. I'd let him sleep through x

I breastfed both mine so not sure how much they were taking but my son was pretty much born sleeping through the night. In the hospital they made me wake him every 3-4 hours and at the start I did the same at home but then i just let him start sleeping through. He fed a lot by day but just wanted to sleep at night. He gained weight well so it wasn't a concern
