5 month old fighting sleep

Hello,

Until 2 weeks ago, my 5 month old baby was combi fed and offered a bottle at night as I wasnt producing enough to get her to sleep and she wanted more. She's now nearly 6 months and in preparation of going back to work I've reduced nursing feeds and now she's mainly on the bottle with the odd nursing here and there until I stop producing milk.

This is all going very well, apart from day naps. At night she will go down around 7-7:30 and apart from a brief wake for food will stay down until 7am ish. However the day time naps are not as sucsessful. She will often take a bottle and fall asleep for a brief moment, then she startles herself awake and she won't go back down. This has been happening for over a week now. Rarely we have a successful nap during the day.

Its likely this could be due to the change in how she's used to falling asleep (bottle instead of breast). How have others tackled this? She's clearly tired as giving me all the cues, but can't fall asleep easily.
