Hi all,

My nephew 19 months old has some development issues. He has no words or just 3 sounds he does (ex: tyty or vrrum vrrum for a car, yami yami when he sees food or wants to eat). Rather than that only babbles. He understand very few basic commands. He has some issues with fine motorics, and doing some repetitive behaviours. We have sent him for evaluation and they did not give a diagnosis as they say he is too young. He is going to therapy for about 2 months now, 1 hour per day , 5 days a week.
My sisters is looking for some resources online to learn how she can support him at home by doing games or “therapy” at home on her own.
Are there courses for parents to do that? Or maybe some youtube videos dedicated to that? Any resource that is good and has helped you would really help her as she is a new mom dealing with this issues now and is very difficult for her.

I would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks in advance

The best thing will be to speak to the person doing his therapy and ask for things she can do at home. No-one here will be able to help more than a professional who has been working with the child for two months.
