Toddler doesn't want to play with us when outside.

Hello fellow mums. Our little girl is almost 3 and an only child. She doesn't go to nursery but she is a very sociable kid. The reason of this post is because I have noticed something which I find strange and I can't find anything online about it. She's is very attached to both me and her dad. We spend all day together. When she's going to football parent+toddler sessions or dancing, l've noticed that she doesn't want to play with us. If for example the dancing teacher asks the kids to dance with their partner (aka parent) she will refuse to dance with us. She will insist dancing with the teacher or other mums. Same things happen at football classes too. She's really happy to play /dance etc with us at home but not when surrounded by other kids/ parents. What's your opinion? Why is this happening?

It sounds like your little one is exploring her independence and enjoys interacting with others in group settings. It’s great that she feels secure enough to socialize beyond her parents, she’s just growing confident in her own way!

I can suggest you some activities that you can do with your toddler. This article my help you. https://blog.burbankids.com/activities-for-toddlers/
