vaccinations, yay or nay?

My ds4 is 18 months old and has only had his first two sets of jabs. He should have had three sets plus MMR be now. The whole idea of vaccinations scares me witless. My other ds' have all had their jabs, and ds3 has been diagnosed with autism, ds2 has as.
I am worried about lack of immunity for my ds4, and am started to feel a bit nervous.
I am a bit concerned about the affect of the jabs, the last time he had them, he stopped babbling for a few weeks. He has not started talking yet, and I am concerned about his development. He babbles, but it is the same sounds again and again, with no new sounds added for months now, no discernable words or sounds close to words.
I feel quite confused about what to do.
Has anyone got unvaccinated children?

Suggest you do a search. This is a subject that has been extensively researched and discussed by mums on this forum.

Pointless creating another heated discussion IMHO.

Am just as confused as you are. The replies don't really help one way or the other but will give you some perspective. In the end it's all down to personal choice.

Hi, have you thought about delaying them? You can always change your mind and get them done later on, but you can't take them out again If you're not comfortable to do them then maybe your best option is to wait, one day you might feel differently.

We haven't vaccinated our ds and won't with any of ours, my husbands uncle died from them, albeit 60 years ago, but that's what made our decision for us. I don't feel that I've put him more at risk by not doing so, there are risks for both sides - just very different ones.

You have to be comfortable with your choice or you will always wonder, one way or another.
