DD is 16m. Our family help worker has noted a couple of concerns regarding her..
she doesn’t babble, no words, no pointing, no waving, doesn’t respond to her name 95% of time, quirky mannerisms like holding her head to the side when walking (think she likes sensation) doesn’t really interact much. She does sometimes. Spins every toy even if it’s not a spinny toy.
HV has said to call her by one name only instead of nicknames but this doesn’t seem to have helped.
our FSW has referred us to something called Portage.
I should add two of my other DC are on the ASD pathway.
Guess I’m just worried this is going the same way 😫
