I’m looking for as much advice as possible. I have two girls 7 and 5. My 7 year olds behaviour has always been difficult but over the last 1.5/2 years it’s unbearable - she’s violent. Full top. Everyone she doesn’t get her way for things from having a snack just before bed or not being allowed out to play because it’s bedtime she thumps me. Punches me and kicks me. I am lost at what to do. I have taken her to the GP who referrered us to cahlms who rejected her referral as they didn’t think she needed it. I’ve spoken to the school to get help from them but she’s an angel at school so no help can be given. I’ve tried reward charts, no screen time. Early beds. Not being allowed to do fun things like her clubs. I’ve tried talking to her, reasoning with her, giving her coping mechanisms to use when feeling frustrated or angry but absolutely nothing works. I cry daily because of it. I need some other mummy’s help! Even just so I know I’m not alone :(

I found that normal discipline techniques didn't work on my DD either. We also got no support from CAMHS.

The techniques in this book might help Flowers

You're not alone @Emk91 , mine is the same in the mornings. I'm totally lost with what to do as well. Sending solidarity.

yeah looks like a tough one - did you get around to reading any books on it?
