Second molar teething

Hello, I’ve got a 21 month old boy. Something has been up for a while with him, mainly irritatable and early wake ups, so I had a look in his mouth and his second molars are absolutely bulging trying to get out at the top, there’s so much pressure the gums are white/blue!
He has been fine all day everyday with us and at nursery but overnight wow… last night he woke up 5 times, and tonight he’s just gone down at 10pm when he initially went to bed at 7pm. He’s basically cried the whole time not wanting to be in his cot.
I feel for him, it must be awful and have done the usual calpol, neurofen and anbesol. Has anyone got any other tips to just get some sleep please? For him and me lol.
I het married Saturday and I’m just so anxious I’m gunna feel like rubbish as well. I’ve had a headache for the last 4 days due to 4am wake ups. And now I’m so anxious about him staying asleep, I’m unable to sleep thinking he’s gunna wake up 😭😭
any advice welcome…. When does it end!

Bless you I’m going through the same with my 21 month old as well. He’s teething and we had a few early morning wake ups which made me feel so rundown. Calpol and Anbesol hasn’t been working for me. Maybe try some ice poles? Or celery sticks straight out the fridge? Not sure how long it’s meant to last but the molars have by far been the worst! Hope you get a good nights rest

Thanks so much! I gave him calpol and neurofen last night and it was the worst night by far! I’ve run out of options lol. I have some ice pops in the freezer actually! Will try those - thank you. Hope tonight’s ok for you too! I’m so desperate for sleep x
