I’ve posted before about my 11 m old DS. He has, since birth , been a very high needs baby. He is quite literally never happy. I’ve given up on him getting better with age or milestones. He has been assessed medically numerous times, although as a baby he had silent reflux he has been weaned off Losec, no other issue has been identified. The health visitor is happy with him developmentally and hasn’t identified any red flags in relation to developmental disorders. We all agree it’s just his temperament. However almost a year in and it’s really starting to take a toll on me. The constant sound of him whinging and complaining is so overwhelming. It starts the minute he wakes up and continues all day. I also have an almost 3 year old. He is an entirely different personality, so easy and good natured.
Is anyone else’s baby like this? How do you cope?
