4 month old inconsolable crying every evening

Please please please someone tell me they’ve experienced this. My 4 month old has been so settled and such a happy baby from around 3 months and then as soon as he turned 4 months he is miserable - more so on an evening.

40 minutes straight of him crying tonight. I’m trying to make bedtime earlier as I thought it was tiredness. He isn’t teething. I doubt its the 4 month sleep regression as he actually sleeps well once he actually calms down and has his bedtime bottle

He had colic very early on and I’m finding this so much more difficult. Both me and my baby are distraught

I can remember those fraught evenings, you have my sympathy OP.

First thing to check is, is he getting enough milk. If you're FFing they need roughly 2.5 Floz per pound in weight in 24 hours.

If they're getting enough could it be the milk? You could try adding Dentinox or swapping to a Comfort Formula? Don't do both at the same time though or you won't know which one is having an effect Flowers
