I was just wondering if this is the average development of a 3 years old.
My son recently started playing with number blocks, and he soon learnt about numbers. He can easily count and writes numbers up to 100 and over. He can do plus and multiply and he knows about squre numbers 1, 4, 9, 16, 25 etc
He brought a cube he made today saying its 9 x 3, total 27 blocks. When I looked at it, there were 1 different colours on 6 different squares and when I opened, he calculated 27 as 20 + 7 using 7 as a rainbow colours. And made a perfect square cube.
I have not taught him much except basics, but he surprises me every time.
His cousin won a math competition in Singapore with a world breaking record and I started thinking if my little one may take a similar step of development as his cousin. Or is it just an average development of a 3 years old kid?
