Taking 9 week old swimming

Looking to take DD to her first swimming pool this weekend. She is 9 weeks old and has had first set of vaccinations and will be taken to heated baby pool. She obviously can't hold herself or her head up yet so just wondering if it's useless to buy any inflatable things (seat etc) as OH thinks would be easier than holding her but I disagree as she will probably flop around in an inflatable seat and feel it would be better holding her in the pool? TIA

She's too young. What's the point?

I thought so too. Going to wait until she can hold head and herself up so she can enjoy it more. Internet making me think things are a good idea (taking babies to pool from very young age) but more enjoyable for us all when she's a bit bigger

We took our little one from three weeks. We just held her. The only last about 15/20 mins at that point
