Nursery teacher thinks my son has adhd

So long story short my DS turned 3 last week. There have been questions in my mind for years about the fact I could possibly have adhd and I have considered myself getting a private test as when I was younger I got tested and they advised I had “a touch” of adhd and would grow out it….that was 22 years ago though and I realise adhd is more understood now. However since my son has been born, myself and my dh notice he is VERY energetic. We often discuss the possibility of him also having adhd. The reason we think this is he never sits down and I mean EVER!! Has loads of energy, like 10x other kids when at the park etc but other than that he literally shows no signs….he sleeps well, eats well, never has huge meltdowns etc etc so we kind of just never thought about it much. Yesterday when collecting him from nursery his teacher told me he displays alot of behaviour that is for reactions such as taking toys off other kids etc not to upset the kid but to get a big reaction therefore they’ve thought for a while he could have adhd. I am in the UK so adhd isn’t actually tested until 6/7 years old so I’m wondering where I go from here? Also in the same breath not sure if the nursery are jumping the gun a tad as he’s only just turned 3 and I don’t want him to be labelled differently from the other kids etc, this was yesterday I got told and I’ve been so upset crying ever since 🥲 any and all advice welcome…I’d love to hear if anyone has been in the same boat. TIA x
