Toddler lining up toys.

My almost 2 and a half year old has started lining up his toy cars and it’s got me a tad worried.

He doesn’t show any other signs of Autism, speaks well for his ages and eats and sleeps well too.

Is it normal for toddlers to line up toys in a row?

Could she just st be exploring the positioning schema?

This is called a schema, it's a perfectly normal part of child development in the toddler years, it's them ordering and making sense of the world.

Things like this only become a sign of autism when it continues past the age of about 4, as it shows unusual development for the age of the child.

Other things like spinning around are also perfectly normal toddler behaviour that are only sign of autism after the preschool years.
