My daughter is 3. She's always been what I call a 'high needs' baby/toddler. She has always been advanced for her age (according to HV and developmental charts etc.) recently, her bag Ionut has become extremely challenging and concerning. She has epic meltdowns multiple times a day. She notices the smallest speck of dirt on something, the tiniest hole, the straps on a bag are not straight, a bag is squashed, there's a fold in a place she doesn't like, her sock feels wrong, she doesn't like the lines on her hands or a beauty spot...
She is also obsessed with her nails. She will
Pick them until they bleed or have a tantrum because one doesn't look right. She currently has a plaster on every single toe because she couldn't bear to see the nails.
The meltdowns are getting worse. She is inconsolable and the angry screaming and crying will continue even when the issue has been rectified.
I wonder if anyone has gone through anything similar. I am really struggling to cope with everything. I am constantly on edge trying to make sure everything is perfect for her so that nothing sets her off. I am exhausted and extremely miserable.
I appreciate any advice or suggestions.
