I’m concerned about my baby’s development at 14 months.

She does not clap/wave/point.
she does not show or give us anything

she does babble
she does respond to her name
she does understand some words, more every day

she has severe separation anxiety
is very clingy to us
Definitely seems introverted as will only babble around us
wary of new people
wary of large animals and dogs that aren’t our dogs

she plays by emptying drawers/boxes of things, she throws items and picks them up and throws again, knocks things over. Doesn’t engage us in her play really.

I know there’s not much I can do but wanted to ask for anyone else’s experiences.

I'd raise your concerns with health visitor or doctor who will carry out checks as she gets older. Get an appointment booked and raise your concerns there.

The trouble with asking on here is people aren't experts and we all have different experiences and some similar things that occur. People are here might offer up conditions/disabilities etc which may worry you unnecessarily etc.
