He was 3 months prem, been discharged from everything now but walks like this. Can be unsteady and trips over easily when he’s giddy. Anyone dealt with this before? He’s a late talker too.

Is he getting any help with talking late?

He was referred by HV but they closed it straightaway, saying to wait. But we’ve just self referred him back as we’re just not comfortable with it.

Glad you've self referred. Can you self refer him first a hearing test too in your area?

You could go through the GP, you could also talk about how he's walking but I'd be tempted to ask to see the HV and fill in the 2 year Ages & Stages and the 2 year Social & Emotional Ages & Stages and ask her to score them.

She can refer to things like Paeds, Physio, Hesring Tests and Portage

Thank you! I thought he’d done this but maybe not. We did meet with a physical therapist who done a test on his language / understanding and then him climbing etc. that’s when they closed it after. I’ll get back in touch with her, thank you again 🤞🏾
