Babysitter 'phobia' in almost 3 year old - any kids stories with fun babysitters in?

Hi
My ds is almost three and has developed a fear of babysitters - I know this is nothing to do with them as my main babysitter is a very good friend and would not do anything untoward - ds is just clingy! This is despite going to nursery - I guess he just knows babysitting is different.

Anyway, I was wondering if there are any good books for 3 year olds with babysitters involved - stories worked well for potty training so it might work here if has reads about a fictional child having fun with a babysitter!

Any other tips welcome.

Hummm, there's one about a kangeroo who looks after other baby animals that ds has - will hunt the title out for you.
Defn a childminder rather than babysitter though...

Alfie and Annie Rose in the Shirley Hughes stories are sometimes babysat by their lovely teenage babysitter Maureen, who wants to be a plumber

Helpers by Shirley Hughes is lovely - about three children being looked after for the day by a male babysitter.

I think it will need to actually use the word babysitter (well unless I replace childminder with babysitter throughout which is an idea).

He already has the sound of music DVD which he adores (he is in love with Julie Andrews!!!) so I've tried saying she is the children's babysitter and that did seem to go in but not quite enough iyswim as he started crying this am simply at the sight of our babysitter when we bumped into her out!!!

Am wondering if the Shirley Hughes one would just encourage him to create mayhem in front of babysitters!

there are a series of books with a character called Daisy by Kes Gray. One of them called, "Really Really", is about when Daisy has a babysitter, my dc 5 & 3 live it! It does involve Daisy being very mischevious (spelling!?) though, which may not be what you're looking for!?
