23 month still doesn't say mama or dada!!

Hi! My son is 23 months and still doesn't call anyone by name, he can say mama or dada if we ask him to say it but he never calls us, he never calls anyone by name 😔 he also only has about 15 words. I have brought this up with health visitor but she says she has no concerns! This does not seem normal to me at all and I'm very worried about this speech and language, my other two kids called us from about 10 months old. Anyone else's children like this?

My DC2 also had limited speech at this age and my HV was equally unconcerned.

I would go with your gut feeling though, especially If you think he's not behaving quite how your other DC did.

How does your DS score on this 18 month speech & language progress checker?

@RappersNeedChapstick she said he was fine he has about 10 words which is all he needed apparently, how your son now?
