My LG has just turned 15 weeks (9 weeks corrected age as she was 6 weeks early). She doesn’t seem to socially smile despite smiling often. I mean she grins and smiles but not when we are tickling her or chatting, singing and smiling at her. She just does it at random points. She gets excited when we tickle and chat to her and kicks her legs but never a smile.
She’s had a pretty rough ride so far with being born 6 weeks early and having surgery before now. We also know she has limited vision in one of her eyes.
Should I be worried about the lack of social smiles? When did your babies smile for being tickled/played with?
