Hi everyone,
I have noticed some potential signs of autism in my 19 month old but as he is my first I’m not really sure if I’m overthinking this??
◦ Doesn’t wave or point ( but can clap)
◦ Has gone from saying 3-4 words to none unless prompted (if I say his name he copies that but nothing else)
◦ Walks on top toes most of the time
◦ Selectively responds to name
He does however maintain eye contact, smiles at me and giggles. Understand instructions EG (come to mummy etc)
I called my HV last week but she didn’t seem too worried because my childminder hasn’t raised any concerns. But I cant shake this nagging feeling in the back of my mind.
