12 week old only feeds if I stand

My 12 week old baby has decided that she does not like it when I sit down to feed her. She’s formula fed and always has been. For the past 2 nights, she has literally almost screamed her head off at me because I’ve tried to sit down to feed her. Literally the only thing that will settle her is if I stand up and feed her.

she has never done this before and I’ve tried doing a bit of research but haven’t found much luck. She doesn’t do it throughout the day it is literally just the night time feed before bed. I honestly don’t know why she’s doing it. Her whole body goes straight and stiff and she refuses the bottle unless I’m standing up.

any advice? Anyone know what it is or what I should do? Is it just a phase?

I think the standing provides some kind of movement so it’s like rocking and milk at the same time. My breastfed baby liked to nurse and rock at the same time at one point which felt quite impossible 😅 The phase passed though. Good luck!
