My DS is nearly 3 and has been at his childminders for over a year. In the last 5 months or so, we've noticed he cries every time he comes home. It's like his been overwhelmed with emotion and then is releasing it all. He eventually calms down. He is easily overwhelmed when in busy soft plays or around lots of loud toddlers, and we usually have similar situations after those days. Otherwise if he's had a quiet day, he doesn't cry like that. I know it could be tiredness but it breaks my heart that he feels so upset. Is this usual toddler behaviour or could it be a spectrum disorder?
