Any advice welcome, my 2.5 year old is a lovely boy but can sometimes play too rough as he often plays with older children at childcare, he seems initiate play with smaller ones by pushing. I know this is ‘normal’ age appropriate behaviour but I’d love to stop it! Each time he pushes we tell
him no and if he doesn’t listen then he gets removed for 2 minutes. I’m told when he’s at childcare he rarely does it other than when tired or when I arrive to collect him. I’m told he’s really gentle and caring with the little ones and shares lovely. Any advice to get out of this phase sooner? He’s also been on the receiving end of pushing so I know where he’s learnt it from but just would like it and to avoid the judgy looks from other parents 🙈
