Best reins for 7 yrear old?

Almost 7 year old, we are going to Chessington, later in the year when she will be. I do not fully trust her to not run off at a moment notice. What reins or backpack harness would fit?

Does she have difficulties with safety awareness? Any mobility or developmental needs to factor in? Does she need/use reins day to day?

Yes she may run if too many people are around. But day to day she has no reins. Obviously a theme park is a new situation. I'd like to be prepared.

Have you ever used one of the little back packs with the strap you can hold? They may fit if the arm straps are put to the largest size? I would have thought reins would be too small as made for toddlers.

I'd probably make sure she was happy with the backpack and you holding the handle prior to the trip so you knew it would help. Just thinking of my eldest who would point blank refuse to walk if he realised I was holding the strap! Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Thank you, I can certainly try this.
