DS2 is 17 weeks and rolling back to front but unabkle to get back again, when he wakes n the night he gets stuck and cries until one of us goes to roll him back - how do we teach him to roll back to front or settle on his tummy, have been through this with DS1 but you forget don't you...

he will eventually!
Not sure if you can "teach" a 17 week old anything can you? I would just put him on the floor as much as you can during the day so he can practise

Don't think you can teach it I'm afraid. My ds rolled over on to his from at 15 weeks and used to do it in the night for about a week. Then the novelty wore off and he stopped practicing his new skill in his sleep. We just had to keep flipping him back over and waiting for him to settle again. Sorry no advice! DS only learned to roll onto his back again at about 6 months but thankfully had stopped rolling over in his sleep!
