Hi everyone. I’m after a bit of advice really. I have a 4 year old and a 16 month old. My son is autistic and started showing he’s aware of his private parts. My son touches his privates in front us all we have told him it’s not appropriate in front of everyone recently we caught him humping his 16 month old sister he’s started touching his privates looking at her and trying to pull her on his lap a lot. We are trying our best to stop this but can anyone tell us if this is normal

Masturbation is normal, but should not include other persons, including siblings.

Hi!
I can understand why you feel concerned.
The touching and being curious about his body and the body of his sibling parent etc is normal development for that age. The humping is interesting, did he maybe see a pet at home do this? I honestly think, especially because he is autistic, very plain and clear boundaries need to be repetitively set.
