17 month old not waving or pointing

My first son is 10 and has learning difficulties and autism.
Second son is now 17 months. We've obviously been watching and wondering if he will develop normally. He's been slightly behind in some things like walking crawling etc but we don't see autism traits like in our first son.
I am worried that he doesn't wave or point, I remember him waving a couple of times when he was a bit younger but it stopped. He can clap and tries to do peekaboo, has a few words.
Anyone else experienced similar?

How did he do on his 12 month check @mummyl2013?

He did fine they just wanted to follow up as he wasn't crawling and they did and they are going to follow up in June about not walking (he just started a few weeks ago)

It's great that he did well in the 12 month check and that they've made an appointment to follow up.

I'd fill in the 18 month Ages & Stages and the 18 month Social & Emotional Ages & Stages ready for when you see the HV. Filling in both will give her a clearer picture of whether everything is fine or your LO needs a little support.
