At a loss with his behaviour

Just picked up my 3.5 Y/O DS from nursery and have been told he has had 'a bit of a day.' This involved, biting, pushing and breaking other children's belongings. I am at a loss. We are getting to the point that if he only pushes one child in the day, it's a success.

The staff are looking for triggers, telling him not to do this, asking questions to understand and removing him from these situations but they are telling me they're not sure what to do next.

He's a bit emotional at home but completely manageable so I find it difficult to give them insight which might help. He's doing well with his vocabulary but he really struggles with expressing his feelings or empathising with others.

I'm now at home as my DP baths him and I can't stop crying all of a sudden. I'm so worried and feel so helpless.

Anyone? I feel like the nursery is telling me he's a bit of a lost cause already.

I don't think he's a lost cause but he may need a little more support at Nursey Flowers

If he's struggling to express himself, and I have every sympathy if he is as my DD is like this, how does he do on this simple SLT progress checker?
