Hi everyone,
I am writing on a children's book to help children realise that they don't have to take on other people's emotions and feel responsible for them but I am running out of ideas.
I experienced the same issue when I was young and remembered myself taking on tasks which is not my responsibility because I am scared that saying no would make my parents unhappy. However, these memories has been quite old and I couldn't remember vividly how I take on other people's emotions and feel responsible for them.
It will be great if anyone could share some stories about your child taking on other people's emotions and felt responsible for them? Or your own experience of this issue when you are a child?
Thank you so much for your help in advance!
