Autism and smell

Hi

my almost 4yo DS is having issues with using the toilet at nursery. He dislikes the smell so won’t use it - resulting in accidents. He also struggles with wearing various clothes.

Can anyone suggest anything he could use to mask the smell?

At home, we use Vicks - but this doesn’t last long enough for nursery. He won’t wear a slap bracelet etc, so the wrist oil carriers do t work.

thanks in advance :)

No idea but just wondering what your plan is for school? Is he going to mainstream?

What about a strawberry lip balm or similar, he could apply under his nose at his top lip before going to the toilet, obviously not long lasting but might be enough to get him through the toilet visit?
