Dummy alternative

Has anyone had the issue of their toddler having two dummies? One in mouth and one they hold in their hand?

In the process of getting rid of dummies but she seems more upset by not having something to hold. Any ideas of what I could give her instead? Not really into teddies.

At a loss of what to try!

Does she have a favourite animal? A small figurine of that animal (Happyland, Lanka Kate, Schleich, all different styles), maybe? I'm thinking it's more similar in size and feel to a dummy than a teddy, and hopefully the favourite animal bit would sweeten the deal.

Ooo she is obsessed with Schleich animals at the moment (god help the bank account!) so that might work - will give a go tonight.. thanks!

Yes, they're pricey! Lovely, though. I've had some good luck with secondhand bundles off either ebay or Vinted, particularly if you don't mind mixing in some of the similar brands, AAA, Papo, etc.
