Please can anyone help?! My 7 year old had a case of toilet issues about 3 week ago. Couldn’t stop going for a number 2. He’s all better now, but we have a new problem that has started, and it’s that he won’t leave the house without crying / panicking and sobbing. He says he needs the toilet or he has stomach ache, yet he is absolutely fine until it comes to leaving the house. It’s obviously some sort of anxiety about not been able to get to a toilet, but other than reassure him / show him where the toilets are, i don’t know how to snap him out of it. It’s making me so anxious because I know it’s going to cause a lot of crying and stress, even if I say we need to nip to the shop. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it last?
