Ear deformity and Earbuddies

I wish to share my experience of using Earbuddies. These are devices to correct protruding ears. You put them on your young baby and stick them down with tape.

My experience has been that after trying to used this product and despite following the application instructions, the Earbuddies would not stay within my baby's ears whilst she was breastfed. I returned the product to the Company and requested a refund. The Company refused to even consider a refund or an exchange (I suggested that they provide the size for a 6 month old baby as I will not be b/f at that point).

In my experience this Company has no empathy or understanding of women breastfeeding and when I said that I would share my experience with other people they were very unpleasant towards me.

My baby now has a bald patch on the side of her head and I have been quite distressed by the nastiness I have encountered from the people at this Company.

How long have you had the product and is there anything in the small print about what is supposed to happen when feeding the baby ? It sounds like poor customer relations anway.
