YAY! Grumpy, whingey, crying 8 month old dd2 CRAWLS!!!!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS! I might just be bragging but I don't care, I am so proud!

Many of you will have probably read my depressing thread about my terribly difficult dd2. She is 8 months and is basically only happy when being held whilst I stand up and keep her on the move. Everyone said she would ease up once she got mobile.

Well this morning, she finally did it. She crawled. Started off just sort of commando crawling but is really pudhing herself up nicely now! Everyone was right, so far, she has only cried once today- because she banged her head (first day of being mobile and already had an accident

Had the stair gates up since day one cos I wanted me and dp to get used to shutting it!

My DS used to be like this. 2 weeks before every developmental leap he was a misery guts, still noticeable when he was way past his babyhood. I think it's out of frustration they know what they want to do but can't.

DD was not like that at all but she developed gradually whereas DS became an expert overnight.
