Worst job in the world!

Each to their own but for me personally I don't know why people call being a parent the best job in the world. It's been the worst time in my thirty something years. I've got two very young beautiful kids and no "village", I work part time and my partner does long hours but having the kids by myself is by the worst days of the week. It's thankless, exhausting and frustrating. I try so hard, practice patience, get them out for fresh air and play dates as much as possible although trying to the house is ridiculous.

No solutions required, it is what is but just needed to rant somewhere.

Please no "cherish every moment" replies, these are v unhelpful.
