Clinginess after illness

I know this happens but i wanted to hear other people's experiences.

My 16mo just got over high fever on/off for 4 days and he is now sooo clingy, not letting me put him down sometimes or not letting me take few steps away from him. He was also just starting to do some longer stretches in the night and now he is back to waking up after few hours. He is still boobin' but used to have it once during the day and these last few days he has been asking for it so often. I am dreading his return to nursery as he is never too happy at drop off anyway, let alone like this.. it is so hard 😓

How long does this last? Or do we just need to do it all over again?

It sounds like he's still a bit poorly and his behaviour is perfectly normal if he's feeling under the weather. He'll be having to his old self once he feels better Flowers

Any improvement today @Srx1? Wink

@CadyEastman Maybe a little bit better, if he's in a good mood and decides to do stuff on his own then he is ok to walk away from me but he still insisted on me holding him and all that. Poor baby, he didn't have a nice time last week, hope he goes back to his old self soon although he is still quite attached to me Smile
