Does anyone else have a loud child?

Just as the title suggests my 4 year old is loud, talking, playing, fighting everything is very loud. I find myself constantly reminding him to turn down his volume but it just falls on deaf ears. Has anyone managed to quieten their loud children?

Just a thought but are you sure he can hear ok? When my DS was being loud or turned out he had an ear infection.

Check for hearing difficulties. I'm very loud myself and turns out I have hearing difficulties in one ear. DD also very loud. Doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong, but worth checking out

I also have a child who has never been able to modulate his voice. I'm sorry, but he is 12.
I can recommend earplugs.

Thanks for the replies ladies, I will get his hearing checked but as far as I'm aware he has no issues there.
It is just the constant loud noise I'm probably just going to have to get used to.
