9yr old night terror/sleep walking and vomiting

Hi-
My 9yr old DS has had night terrors and sleep walking incidents for the last year or so... however last night he was sick on the bathroom floor whilst sleep walking. I found the sick on the floor when I went to bed, so woke DS to ask if he was ok- he said he was fine and had no memory of being sick. He was fine this morning.
Just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar,

thanks

My ds1 had night terors and sleepwalking, but has just about grown out of it thankfully (he's now 6 yrs, but had it since he was 2). Never had to deal with him being sick though - do you have a pet it could have been?

Does he do sleepwalking at the same time as the terrors or are they separate? Ds1 always seemed to do them together - he would make this awful groaning sound and struggle to get out of bed and down the stairs to find us. Whatever we said or did never seemed to help him at the time, he'd get even more stressed out because he couldn't hear or see us!

thanks!
definitely DS's sick! no pets and very obvious grapes in it!
He seems to be having more episodes of sleep walking at the moment- he usually wanders into the bathroom and then goes back to his bed within 5 or so minutes. It usually happens around 10 o'clock- when he has been in bed for an hour or so. Hoping the sick was a one-off...

Ds1 used to walk about after an hour of being in bed too, and he went through a stage of doing them twice or three times a week, for up to forty minutes at a time (seems ten times longer when that awful groaning noise is going on the whole time)! The time they took eventually went down and then the quantity went down, and I don't think he's had one for a good six months or so now. So they do grow out of it eventually!

Most likely your ds's was a once off, if he was having a terror at the same time he could have got himself scared enough to be sick - ds1 just used to sweat buckets and buckets to the extent I could wring his jammies out over the sink, and I'd have to change his sheets. Hopefully your ds won't be sick again like that anyway!

thanks loganberry . Glad to hear your DS has grown out of them now.

Hi Honey Apple
Did your son get better following the sleepwalking and vomiting episodes. My son started this when he was 9 and then had a few random episodes when he was 10 but this year (he is 11) it has got much worse almost every night now. The doctors don’t seem to know what to do. I know it’s an old thread but I wondered if you could help or advice?
