7 year old boy advice?

I have a 7 year old boy. He's never been officially diagnosed with autism or anything but we highly suspect he might have a form of high functioning autism. He does well with his school work and socially, he is a popular, happy little boy.

When he's excited he does a "jump" I can't describe it.. it's basically like he's been electrocuted and his whole body jumps for a second and he flings his arms in the air! He has no idea he's doing it. It's always when he's excited whether it be about a game on his laptop, seeing something he likes when out shopping, completing his Lego.. any minor excitement. We've all noticed he's doing it more and more often. It's cute but.. is it something we should worry about?

If you suspect he had ASD I would seriously recommend getting an assessment. He may be sweet and a little quirky now but he's likely to need more support once puberty and High School collide.
