Toddlers separation anxiety

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what should be done. My 3yo toddler is experiencing some separation anxiety when I leave her at nursery she gets quite upset and cries for a while before teachers are able to calm her down. She has some pictures of the whole family at nursery to look at when I'm not there which sometimes calms her down. They have now asked if they are able to get a health care professional to come and observe her to get further pointers on what they could do. They are struggling to calm her down in the morning but say that she perks up in the afternoon and is really happy and has a good day. They have said that development wise she is absolutely fine. I don't know what to do as we were given 4 weeks notice by the childminder previously due to the same issue.

Is there something going on at home something new different new sibling moved house etc? Some children take longer to adjusts than others. I always find distraction is the best thing at that age engross her in an activity she enjoys

Thanks for your reply. No nothing new going on at home she used to be the same at the childminders and she let her go due to that reason as it was disturbing other children she said. When she goes it is usually a long day 7.30 to 5pm coupd that be the issue plus shes not ussually a morning person we ussually go upto bed about 6/7pm and she goes over eventually, the school have told me that it's only an issue in the morning and then she is fine.

Sounds like she's just not a morning person! Neither am I! I don't function before 10 and that's with at least 2 coffees in me. So relax. It's just her little personality 😊
