No interest in solids for 5 weeks- teething

I have posted about issues with solids with my baby before but things have ramped up since he started teething. He’s 11 months and started teething 5 weeks ago. He has barely been interested in solids at all for 5 weeks and not only is it stressing me out, it’s making me dread every meal time which is filled with moaning. I feel terrible as I don’t even know what his favourite foods are anymore as he is refusing everything- sweet desserts/yoghurts- the lot! He picks up some foods but will just nibble really on a few pieces.

I of course expected teething to affect his appetite but not for this long. He has got 4 teeth in the last month and I can only imagine how horrible it’s been for him. He doesn’t even want soft foods/purées/cold foods, so it doesn’t make any sense to me.

I guess I’m just looking for reassurance that things will get better soon? Or am I going to be waiting months and then he’ll be teething again etc…

And have people found that teething is an issue until the full tooth is out?

Yes have tried both Calpol and ibuprofen 15-45 mins before feeds and teething gel
