Baby skin tag ear

Hi everyone!
So my beautiful little girl is nearly 7 months old
When she was born she was born with a skin tag next to her ear! The gp referred her to see if they'd remove it but they refused and said if we want it removing we will have to go private!
At the moment I'm not sure how I feel she's beautiful how she is and it doesn't bother me! I'm just worried she will feel like self conscious? Or other kids will make comments? A couple of children in the family have already made comments I just wanna protect her really! Love her so much!
Has anyone else's little ones had anything similar? What did you do? Does it bother them?

No replies! I just searched for ‘skin tag baby’ as my 7 month baby also has a skin tag on her ear and I’m not sure what to do!!!
