When the health visitor did our 12 month assessment she said he failed all the gross motor but not to worry he probably will start in the next couple month and booked us another appt a few months later which is this this week. But I still can’t say yes to any of the questions he hasn’t improved at all.

he still only army crawls, really has to drag his body slowly around. He cannot sit up from laying so I have to sit him up after a walk. He stands against something if I pick him up but he has shown no signs of pulling himself up. Is this normal for some babies ?

I know you shouldn’t compare but I know lots of friends with babies the same age , a couple have walked for a few months. The ones who can’t are still so mobile , cruising everywhere and going from crawling to sitting themselves. They all just seem so advanced compared , he started pulling to crawl at around 9 month but hasn’t advanced since

thanks guys

Babies do develop at different rates but I would get them checked out if you are worried. The sooner you identify something the better as you can help them.
