My DS is a summer baby in reception. He's doing well overall - one of the top in his class ability wise and behaving well in school overall. This issue is at home - he can be lovely but can get angry quickly and directs a lot of rage at me and dh, ignores us if he doesn't want to do what we are saying, and will actually laugh in our faces if we tell him off. We are firm and fair with him and have another (older in their year) child who we never went through this with.
I'm pretty sure this is a phase for the obvious reason that's he's having to do a lot at school for such a little one, but it's wearing us down so would appreciate any reassurance anyone has been there and hoping it's a common phase that will be over soon?
