Baby screaming after naps

My 3 month old (15 weeks) has started screaming during and after every nap in the day time, she goes bright red, screaming crying and floods of tears. Her night sleep hasn't changed at all, she sleeps about 9-12 hours a night which is amazing. She used to be able to nap independently and now she will only contact nap and I have to get her off to sleep by patting her bum and rocking her standing up. I have tried everything to get her to sleep independently but she just won't nap unless it's a contact nap at the moment. She will go to sleep quite quickly and will nap for long periods of time but no matter what she will wake up screaming. She also wakes screaming throughout her nap about every half an hour and I have to then stand up and get her back to sleep again. She will go back to sleep but even after a 2 hour nap she will wake up screaming so surely she can't be tired still. I know she's not hungry because she will never take a bottle immediately after her naps. Could it be the 4 month sleep regression? I just thought this affected night sleep but her night sleep hasn't changed. I'm really struggling with her only contact napping. I can't get anything done! Any advice?

I was going to ask if she was thirsty as my DC1 did this until he got fed or when he was older a drink seemed to pacify him.

Not sure but just wondered if you'd stumbled across the No Cry Nap Solution during one of her many contact naps yet? Flowers

Hey, sorry to see you didn't get many replies to this! I am wondering if this resolved for you as my 15 week old is doing the same. Until this week he was fairly happy to be put into the cot for naps but suddenly he wakes as soon as he's put down, and screams falling asleep and waking up exactly like you described. I've never heard of anyone else experiencing this!
