Tummy time now, as much as they like when awake, according to the HV

My DS is also 4 months and we try and do regular tummy time although he is not a big fan and gets cross v quickly even though he used to sleep on his front when he was v small.

I think the books say rolling over from about this age but, like everying, it really varies. DD didn't roll over until she was about 7 or 8 months although her other motor skills were fine.

Hi My dd3 is coming up for 6 months and we've only done it with her a few times - generally because she is liable to be stepped on by one of the others! She's not that fussed though - she prefers to lie on her back and push herself backwards around the room with her feet!

I have been giving my son tummy time right from the beginning. He is now 6 months old. He could only last for a minute or two at first but now he last way longer...still doesn't LOVE being on his tummy but is getting better. He has started to roll over within the last month or so..lots within this last week or two.
